Faeran's Adventure Log

Today, somebody talked to me that wasn't just Manzanillo asking to fix my funny looking helmet, or Gathilas telling me that I talk to much! It was a real person! Not just one of those NPC's that I talk to frequently (You know who you are: Guard Tranton!). She asked me how I liked the world that is Telon, and I must say that I didn't know where to start. Luckily she had lots of questions for me (maybe a few too many!) but I answered them anyway, because I could smell a pie in her bag, and thought if I was nice enough she would give me a piece.

First I answered her question about how it felt to be a youngin in my home town of Rindol Field. I thought it was great! Yup, great!

She started looking at me funny, and I get nervous when people look at me funny. I start mumbling about random things when that happens, so I ended up talking about pumpkins. I LOVE pumpkins! I remember back, in my early adventuring days, I carved out a great looking pumpkin and put it in front of Mia Pennstump's house to scare away all the pumpkin horrors.

You see, Mia had a bad problem with Pumpkin Horrors invading the pumpkin patch, at the same time of having a problem with Redcaps stealing her pumpkins! She felt scared that her house might be a target next, so I helped her out by harvesting some pumpkins from the patch. You see, she had a great idea that if I carved an evil looking face into a pumpkin, the pumpkin horrors would think they already invaded her house!

Well, it seemed that she liked my story, and since I was so excited to have someone just listening to them, I decided to tell her another one about the time Besti Nuelberry turned me into a Frog!

I looked so slimy! AND GREEN! I like green, I think I need to go get some green pants. Wait, the frog story! Yes! I believe it was Jensa Grimbo who wanted me to scare off the Redcaps from her Honey Patch. She came up with a funny idea of turning me into a frog with a magical potion. You see, Redcaps HATE frogs! So of course, I couldn't resist, I just had to see what it felt like to be a frog. I felt funny jumping around as a big green, slimy frog, but not nearly as funny as the look on those redcaps faces when they ran in terror! I will never forget their faces, it was a priceless moment.

Wait, don't go! I have another story! and this one is the best of them all! In fact it is about the invading ants that those nasty redcaps lured into my home town with that honey they stole from the Grimbos, which was planted near Marmila Rindol's house by those redcaps, which was why all the ants were all over her lawn, but that wasn't my fault! I swear! In fact, after we straightened the whole honey issue out, it was Marmila Rindol who thought up a great idea of how to get those ants away from her house. She gave me a honeycomb and crumbled cookies over it. After I ate some of it I planted it in a perfect location to try to lure the Queen Ant out so I could kill it, and it worked! It actually worked! I was so surprised I almost forgot to start fighting it. Wow, it was definitely the biggest Ant I had ever seen!

Oh, look at the time, it is almost time for my pre-dinner, post-pie snack. For some reason I feel like some cookies, or maybe some honey. I know! Some honey cookies! Oh wait, After the last story that I told to the girl she wanted to know how old I was when I did all this stuff, and after I thought back I told her that I did it all before I was five! Anyway, thanks for listening to my story of my story, I must say that it has definitely been a productive day!
