Guard Kiben is located in the chunk called Coastal Graveyard, and wanders around one of the paths. The closest riftway is the Trengal Keep one, but if you would like to save a bit of money for a longer ride you can always take the silverlake one (check our Quest Overview for npc location, if you haven't already).

Once you find Guard Kiben he will make you aware of a group of bandits that have recently set up shop along this road he patrols. He has been authorized to award a bounty to anyone that deals with the threat. Kill 50 of the bandits and you shall recieve a reward of either a necklace, a shield, or a Drum. The drum seems to be the main attraction to this quest, as the shield and the necklace seem to have been thrown in there to give a reward to anybody wishing to help out the lonely bard.

Finding the bandits should come fairly easily, as you just need to follow the road west until you run into them. They have a few camps set up, with enough mobs to go around. Each bandit will be level 20-21 3dot and should be fairly good experience for one or two people around the same level.

After killing the 50 mobs needed to meet your quota, head back to Guard Kiben for your reward. You can pick from either the Watch Drum, Thestran Watch Shield, or a Thestran Watch Pendant. But we know why are you really here, pick up your Watch Drum and see how fast you can run!
