Quest: Purifying the Temple (Part 3)

Azara Shahab will be most pleased with the news that Xarkrafi has been defeated. Unfortunately Xarkrafi was just one step in purifying the temple. You see, long ago, Verleguut, Prophet of Dailuk, tried to bring Dailuk across the Void. Luckily, he failed, as Dailuk was far too powerful at that time. These days, his worshipers has diminished, and so has Dailuk's power. We must take advantage of this situation and destroy him while he is still in his weakened state. Fortunately for us, the Phophet's ritual is still active, so all we really need is the final ingredient: Dailukian Powder! Verleguut is still in the temple trying to complete the ritual, so perhaps he still has the powder on him. Let's find out!

So head over to the Chapel of Dailuk where you will find Verleguut performing the ritual. Surrounding the Chapel you will see many Claviger, Cultist, and Purifier's of the Void guarding the ritual (all around level 18-19 3dot). Clear the way into the Chapel where you will find Verleguut (level 20 5dot) surrounded by 3 of his men helping him perform the ceremony (level 18-19 3dot). Get your group to figure out a strategy to take him down. Killing him will update everyone's quest. A Dailukian Powder will drop as well as a nice item (hopefully) somebody can use.

This is it, what we have all been waiting for. It is time to head into the House of Dailuk, which is right next door to the Chapel. Head to the bottom room where you will notice a big gigantic globe in the middle, glowing a glossy red color. In the room you will be surrounded by Sentry's of Dailuk (around level 19-20 4dots). Before you summon Dailuk you will need to clear the entire room of these Sentry's or else Dailuk will call them all to help him. Now that you have that out of the way head to the big globe and get the person with the powder to right click it. Dailuk will spawn in the far side.

Now this is where the fun begins. Dailuk is a level 21 5dot mob that seems to have an overabundance of HP. At first Dailuk just seems like a regular everyday gigantic golem, but he's not! At approximately 20% health he will summon 6 tiny (level 20 1dot) golems to his aid. These golems are not just annoying, but having them up also triggers Dailuk's health to full. There's a few ways to counteract this. If you have someone in your group that can counterspell Dailuk's summoning spell, that would be the easiest option. If not, try to kill the 6 mobs as fast as you can once they are spawn, some AoE damage might be worth doing in this situation. As long as you can stop the 6 mobs from healing Dailuk then you should be able to win!

NOTE: If you fail this event, you will need to kill Verleguut again to get another Dailukian Powder. This will allow you to summon Dailuk once again.

After the kill, head back to Azara Shahab with your victory dance and the turn-in. Congratulations! You have defeated the mighty Dailuk.
